Sandra Fleek
$100.00
Artist statement: My art has evolved over the years from oil painting to acrylic to watercolor and back to acrylic, which feels right for me. I am always attracted to vibrancy and color and look to create works that evoke a sense of place and time.
Specific medium: Acrylic on stretched canvas
Lazy Dog
Sandra Fleek
$100.00
Artist statement: I have been a painter as long as I can remember, but I had spent many years using different kinds of brushes painting walls in the houses I lived in. After finally completing my dream home and raising my children, I was inspired to get back into the creative process. I decided to try a watercolor class, as that was a medium I had always shied away from. Since then, I have been painting again with passion and have turned by family room into a studio.
Specific medium: Acrylic on stretched canvas
Ginko Leaves
Robin Fleming
Artist statement: The shapes and colors of nature attract me. I am always on the lookout for repetitive, pleasing shapes in nature. I carried the ginko leaves home with me from Berkeley, CA, and had fun arranging, drawing, and painting them.
Specific medium: Watercolor paint
Oak Leaves
Robin Fleming
$330.00
Artist statement: The process of descriptive painting does not attract me until I am doing it, but I find the process both meditative, and a labor of love, as I adore each shape and nuance of color as I attempt to reproduce it in paint.
Specific medium: Watercolor paint on paper
Lake Winnipesaukee Boat House
Sarah Foley
$50.00
Artist statement: The image was taken during a lazy July day in Buzzel Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee, Moultonboro New Hampshire. In my opinion the color of the boat house was striking with the background of the mountains and the surrounding details.

Housatonic River Ice

Selected for Exhibition

Peony Trio
Carol Frieswick
$350.00
Selected for Exhibition
Artist statement: When I saw how the photo reference for these flowers came out I immediately knew I wanted to challenge myself to paint them in oils. A challenge it was, almost as mesmerizing as the waterlily series I did.
Specific medium: oil
